Garden Cake
This is a Garden cake I made this week for my sister in law's, mother in law. She loves to Garden. I love the details of this cake, the flowers, birds, frog, bird bath brought it to life. The cake was yellow cake with rasberry filling. The dirt is crushed up oreos. Everything, of course is edible. It is one of my most favorite cakes I have make.

cousins little girl, Ellie, who turned 4 this June. We
had a brunch which included French Toast with carmel
syrup, flower quiche and chocolate dipped strawberries.
It was a blast. All the little girls dressed up like princesses.
a cake in one of my books, with my own modifications
of course. It sets on a tier of cupcakes that have the
princess cupcake liners around them.

"Under the Sea" Birthday Party
This was a birthday party I did for my great
niece (that title makes me sound a lot older than
I really am) who turned 3 this past June.
It was themed as an Under the Sea Party.
For the Menu we had Peanut Butter and Jelly
fish sandwiches, Egg salad fish sandwiches, mermaid
kabobs, chips, veggies and some Blue OCEAN
punch. For ocean effect we also had a bubble machine
and a real sand ocean floor. For our party favors we
had fish kabob's and pearl bracelet's. (None
of the food really had fish in it).

I designed my cake after the game of Fishing where the little
fish bob up and down and you have to catch them. I then added
a mermaid and the rest of my under the sea creatures. All
these are made of fondant and gum paste and everything on
it is edible. I wish I would have got a couple close ups because
the sea weed, stars, and clams are my favorite. I was even able to put
a couple pearls in some of the clams. If you look close you can
see them.
